Little Miss Lilly is one year old!

My sweet little niece turned a year old.   It goes without saying that she will have free birthday cakes from her Auntie Bridgid for her entire life!   And because she is so cute, and I am such a pushover, I will make her whatever she wants.   Now, being only a year old, she did not pick out her own design.  This year my sister got to do it for her.  My sister, Molly Stillman, is super knowledgable on all things fashion and design and LOVES Lilly Pulitzer, so she took this opportunity to give Lilly an adorable party.  You can see the pictures of her beautiful decorations on her blog http://www.stillbeingmolly.com .

So back to the subject at hand….the cake!   The Lulu Lilly pattern was the inspiration.

Happy Birthday sweet girl!  I can’t wait to see what next year’s cake looks like.

The weather was topsy turvy this week and so are my cakes!

Topsy Turvy (pink, black, white)

This topsy turvy cake was a fun addition to a little girl’s “Rock & Roll” themed birthday party.

Happy birthday and ROCK ON Ryan!

And now……ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!

Redskins Football

Buccaneers FootballThe season has arrived to cheer for our favorite teams while we enjoy lots of yummy game time snacks.  Why not finish them off with a delicious cake with your favorite team’s logo?

Purple Coach Bag on the Rack

purple-coach-cakeIt’s Saturday afternoon and I’m designing another fashion bag, soon to be devoured. That’s right, a Purple Coach Cake (… a Bag on the cooling Rack).

From children’s purses to MAC compacts to Louis Vuitton each one has been fun to make.  This cake should be no different and I can’t wait to see how it turns out — Devil’s Food and Cream Cheese Frosting. Totally Coach.

In the meantime, I’m still celebrating VA Tech’s win over the Bearcats.

Anyone want me to make them a Tech cake? I’m sure you could convince me to do it for 1/2 price.
